The respected nautical internet magazine NauCAT alongside International and Croatian boat manufacturers, conducted the 15th review of the “Croatian Boat of the Year” awards recently. These peer-based awards have the admirable goal of stimulating the improvement of boat design and quality for sport and leisure boating on all levels. Nomination and voting was conducted by more than 80 boat manufacturers from all over the world.
NauCAT’s competition essentially differs from similar awards through the singular fact that Croatian Boat of the Year Award is judged by the profession itself – worldwide boatbuilders. The inclusion of international boat/yacht manufacturers adds substantial weight to the results and shows the boating public that the professionals with the experience and knowledge in the industry hold the winners in extremely high regard. Besides, all boat builders carefully watch their direct competitors and continually assess their quality, workmanship, design and innovation. NauCAT’s contribution to these awards includes the provision and management of a formal process for this continual assessment.

It closes by pulling out the canopy from vertical side lockers around the cockpit like a curtain. This extremely flexible solution makes it possible to set up the canopy within a matter of a few seconds.
