On “MAREX Boats”, UAB energy audit project
MAREX Boats UAB is a manufacturer of exclusive, top-quality recreational boats of different models and sizes. The boats manufactured by the company are regular winners of the highest awards at international boat shows. The company’s operations have been tailored to keep in mind environmental issues and therefore, continuous efforts are made to implement energy efficient technologies in a number of sectors. Our desire to contribute to the implementation of energy efficiency targets and to reduce manufacturing costs calls MAREX Boats UAB to implement the project of preparation for the reduction of energy costs in the company’s operations. Energy audit of the manufacturing processes of MAREX Boats UAB would allow us to evaluate energy losses in manufacturing process and plants and to find the measures for reduction of such losses. Taking into account the results of the energy audit, MAREX Boats UAB will implement the most efficient energy boosting measures that allow the optimisation of energy consumption.
The project is implemented as the measure No 04.2.1-LVPA-K-804 “Audit for Industry in LT” under the priority 4 ‘Promoting energy efficiency and the production and use of renewable energy’ under the 2014-2010 Operational Program for investments from the European Union funds.
